It requires no logging in or anything like that - you upload your 3D file and get your price within minutes. With the same tool, you can configure your 3D print and order it with a few clicks. It does not easier or more efficient!
Before upload
To use our instant quote tool, you need a 3D print ready 3D model.

If you have a CAD file you will need to export the file as, for instance, an STL or an OBJ file.
Do you not have a 3D model?
Even if you do not have a 3D model, we can still give you a price estimate. All we need is you to tell us what you need 3D printed. Then we will create a dummy model with the same rough specifications as the final 3D print which we can then make an estimate based on.
Upload
To upload your 3D model, you simply click the button 'instant quote' on the 3D printing page.
When the tool is open, you will see the upload page as above where you can simply drag and drop your 3D model or just select your file from your computer.
Some types of 3D files are without units. Therefore, you need to select a unit to make sure that your 3D print is scaled correctly. If you have modeled your 3D file in, for instance, inches then simply select 'inches'. If you are in doubt, you can change it later.
If your 3D file is very large, it can take some time for the tool to analyse the 3D model
Configuring
Once your file has been uploaded and analyzed, you will see a window as the above. On the left you can see details about your 3D model, e.g. how big it is, how much space it will take up in the 3D printer and how many parts it consists of. Selecting material for a 3D print. To the right you get the possibility to configure your 3D model and see prices. Depending on your selections, you will see options for selecting material, 3D printing technology, finish and color of your 3D print. There are also delivery options and the option to select the wanted number of 3D prints. While selecting this, the tool will calculate prices for all options.
Ordering
Once you have configured your 3D print, you can add it to your cart. Then you can choose to check-out, and then you will see a window just like the above. From here it works just like a regular web shop, except that the product is 100% your own!
